Dragons Den Round 2

One of my favourite shows on CBC is definitely Dragons Den. It is amazing to check aspiring entrepreneurs trying to sell their inventions to multimillionaires to help back up their new product or promotion. Some are absolutely terrible and some are astounding, asking me the question, “why didnt I come up with that before”? Here is my unique spa product I got to model for a friend of mine. Its called Bath n Gel. Its so therapeutic and I got to use it while on set! How lucky can a girl get to lay in a bath for a shoot? Well watch the video to see if we made the cut!!

Rally For Sick Kids

I  recently had the priveledge to be a part of The Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup.  It  is one of the most exciting and effective charitable fundraising initiatives providing critical funds for care, treatment and research for kids suffering from cancer.

Their fundraising philosophy is driven by the belief that by making a difference in the lives of children, we are making an invaluable investment in our future, community and our world. Our hope is that through the funds our events raise for the foundations and hospitals we support, we will become a step closer to one day finding a cure for cancer.  (www.rallyforkids.com) Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed were our gracious Honorary Co-Chairs. This year we managed to raise over 3.2 MILLION dollars for Sick Kids Hospital.   These children are incredibly brave and should be an inspiration to us all. We are all so lucky and blessed in our own lives if we just take the time to acknowledge that and be grateful. I dont ask much from my fans but this is something very dear to my heart. Please take the time today to donate to Sick Kids Foundation. For more information please go to: www.sickkidsfoundation.com or donate for our next Rally at: www.rallyforkids.com Make a difference in someones life.

Thailand…best I’ve ever had

Every year I make a promise to myself to travel to a new part of the world, somewhere that I have never been. Last year was my dream destination to Paris, France. The shopping, fresh crepes in the morning, the Eiffel tower and that sweet smell of amore in the air. The year before that I was fortunate to go to Rio De Janeiro for the famous Carnival! The dancing, the beautful lights and the most beautiful views from on top of the Corcovado (Christ Statue). But this year was completely different. I got to see a much different side of the world in Asia. And that beautiful country was Thailand.  This is one sure place that you can have some grand adventures in. I got to see some of the most manificent beaches in Patong and Phi Phi with the most crystal blue waters and fine white sands.  I travelled to Bangkok to Lebua  for one of the best meals I have ever had on State Tower. (Same hotel they filmed Hangover 2 in). As well as visit a Tiger and Elephant Zoo in Pattaya. I literally had an elephant give me a back massage. (Yes I gave myself up to be a volunteer…I still dont know why I did it!) And lastly my very proud accomplishment. My very nice new bamboo sak yant tattoo I recieved on my rib. Its a beautiful Lotus flower with a script for protection and prosperity.  So if you are ever in need of a great vacation filled with endless possiblities, trust my advice and let Thailand be your next adventure. You never really know what can happen til Thailand has you!

SPCA- Man’s Best Friend

SPCA’s mission is to protect and enhance the quality of domestic, farm, and wild animals through-out Canada. I have been a huge advocate and animal lover my entire life.  That is why I believe it is so important to give back to organizations like the SPCA.  These animals are helpless, and alone and without the support of volunteers and organizations such as this they are truly helpless.  We are all blessed in our lives to have the determination and drive to to make our own paths in the world, but what about the animals that have no voice?  This is why I was so priveledged to be a part of the SPCA’s Celebrity Golf Tournament in Prince Albert, Alberta. The volunteers there donate all the time and energy into providing better homes and clean space for these animals so that they can live a long and prosperous life. This year we were fortunate enough to raise over $100,000 to assist in their future. If you have a pet, please cherish them and give them all the love that they give you unconditionally. If you do not have your own pet or are looking for one, please visit your local SPCA and donate or adopt today. You dont know how much it could mean to mans best friend.

Mmmm Chocolat

There comes a time in life when you least expect it, that dreams come true.  One of my fascinations has always been with Mmmhmm chocolate.  My best girlfriends and I recently went out for a weekend brunch to a wonderful place called Moroco Chocolat. This place not only has delicious foods, great beats but SWEET treats. After our delicious brunch, I was asked by our gracious host, Shauna Ireland, if I would be interested in being a part of their Hall of Fame! I’ve never been so flattered in my life. I gladly agreed and before I knew it my hand was completely covered in….you guessed it…..mmmhmm chocolate! It was such an honour to be a part of this great experience.
