Rally For Sick Kids

I  recently had the priveledge to be a part of The Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup.  It  is one of the most exciting and effective charitable fundraising initiatives providing critical funds for care, treatment and research for kids suffering from cancer.

Their fundraising philosophy is driven by the belief that by making a difference in the lives of children, we are making an invaluable investment in our future, community and our world. Our hope is that through the funds our events raise for the foundations and hospitals we support, we will become a step closer to one day finding a cure for cancer.  (www.rallyforkids.com) Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed were our gracious Honorary Co-Chairs. This year we managed to raise over 3.2 MILLION dollars for Sick Kids Hospital.   These children are incredibly brave and should be an inspiration to us all. We are all so lucky and blessed in our own lives if we just take the time to acknowledge that and be grateful. I dont ask much from my fans but this is something very dear to my heart. Please take the time today to donate to Sick Kids Foundation. For more information please go to: www.sickkidsfoundation.com or donate for our next Rally at: www.rallyforkids.com Make a difference in someones life.

SPCA- Man’s Best Friend

SPCA’s mission is to protect and enhance the quality of domestic, farm, and wild animals through-out Canada. I have been a huge advocate and animal lover my entire life.  That is why I believe it is so important to give back to organizations like the SPCA.  These animals are helpless, and alone and without the support of volunteers and organizations such as this they are truly helpless.  We are all blessed in our lives to have the determination and drive to to make our own paths in the world, but what about the animals that have no voice?  This is why I was so priveledged to be a part of the SPCA’s Celebrity Golf Tournament in Prince Albert, Alberta. The volunteers there donate all the time and energy into providing better homes and clean space for these animals so that they can live a long and prosperous life. This year we were fortunate enough to raise over $100,000 to assist in their future. If you have a pet, please cherish them and give them all the love that they give you unconditionally. If you do not have your own pet or are looking for one, please visit your local SPCA and donate or adopt today. You dont know how much it could mean to mans best friend.
