I  recently had the priveledge to be a part of The Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup.  It  is one of the most exciting and effective charitable fundraising initiatives providing critical funds for care, treatment and research for kids suffering from cancer.

Their fundraising philosophy is driven by the belief that by making a difference in the lives of children, we are making an invaluable investment in our future, community and our world. Our hope is that through the funds our events raise for the foundations and hospitals we support, we will become a step closer to one day finding a cure for cancer.  (www.rallyforkids.com) Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed were our gracious Honorary Co-Chairs. This year we managed to raise over 3.2 MILLION dollars for Sick Kids Hospital.   These children are incredibly brave and should be an inspiration to us all. We are all so lucky and blessed in our own lives if we just take the time to acknowledge that and be grateful. I dont ask much from my fans but this is something very dear to my heart.
