Growing up in Canada i was very fortunate for a couple of reasons. The first being, that I grew up with a very diverse group of people from all walks of life. The second aspect, is that I grew up in a family surrounded by hockey. I grew up watching, assisting and just getting first hand, the true nature of the sport. My father and all my uncles played as kids. My little brother started skating by the age of 2, just because that is the right thing to do when you live in Canada! And he loved to play! I adored watching the leafs play and part-taking in the rituals that surrounded the ”Play-Off” time in our household. It taught me many things, including our devotion to The Toronto Maple Leafs no matter how a season was going, and just being a proud Canadian! I remember watching Team Canada in the final game against the Americans during the 2011 Olympic Games. My cousin and I watched patiently and diligently while Canada won the series and struck GOLD for our country. That was a true proud Canadian moment. So cheers to all my hockey fans out there, may the best team WIN and don’t forget where you came from! On that note here is a preview of my photo shoot with Phoenix Coyotes ”Biz Nasty” aka Paul Bissonnette from our photo shoot with The Fourth Period Magazine shot by the very talented Matt Vardy. It was an amazing shoot filled with rivalries and lost of laughter! ( Just remember I made sure to get my leafs colours in at least one shot!) HAHA GO LEAFS GO!!
